Simple, Fast Thanksgiving Table Decor

Thanksgiving Table

Ok…Thanksgiving is next week!  Let’s think about how we are going to decorate the table.  Our table is overflowing with plates and serving dishes; however, I love to have some type of centerpiece – it really makes it feel special!  I thought I would show you 3 very simple and fast ideas for centerpieces or a buffet setting!  This means that if you purchase a product through a link we have here in the post, we may be compensated at no cost to you.

First…ask yourself these questions:

  • Do I have decor I can reuse? Baskets, fall leaves, candles, pumpkins, gourds, or any fall decor will work!
  • Can I re-purpose something?  Bring in something from a different room and use it in a different way?  Maybe a basket, crock bowl, or other dish?  Be creative!
  • Can I find something to use from nature?  Of course pumpkins, gourds, pine cones, fall grasses…use your imagination!
  • Watch the dollar store or thrift stores…many items can be found, re-purposed, and used for decor!

Here are my ideas…each one took less than 5 minutes and each used items that I already had on hand.

#1 – Fall leaves with pumpkin spice candle

This one used:

Fall flower candle ring (Michaels)

Silk Fall Leaves (Michaels)

I also used some extra fall flowers

Pumpkin Spice candle – adds warmth to your table

#2 – Fall leaves with basket of pumpkins and gourds

This one used:

Silk Fall Leaves (Michaels)

Pumpkins & Gourds – purchased several years ago (Michaels)

Small basket – borrowed from my laundry room

Pumpkin & Leaf “Confetti” – This is one of my favorite fall decor              items – it is jewel toned plastic and it adds a festive touch to any              table! (Michaels)

#3 – Buffet Setting – Scarecrows – this would be great on a counter or buffet!

This one used:

Scarecrows – similar ones can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby

Silk Fall Leaves, Pumpkins, Gourds (Michaels)

Jewel Toned Confetti – Same as above – love it!

See…it only takes a few minutes to take some simple items and make your Thanksgiving table festive and inviting!  Use your imagination and be creative!
